of the unexpected death of Mr. John J.
'Taylor, of Lexington; Mich., which took
place on Wednesday, after only a few
days' illness, from congestion of th.o lungs.
Deceased • formerly worked in the Organ
Factory here, but removed'io Lex>ilgtorl'
about a year since. He was a son of Mr.
Jelin Taylor, in town, and son-in-law of
- Mr. W. Herbison, Goderich township;
his remains 'will be interred here, The
announcement of the death of Mrs, Ken-
dall,,which took place on Wednesday af-
ternoon, will also be received with sur•
prise by •our townpeoplet . She caught
cold a f,ew days since, which resulted in
inflammation. of the lungs, this causing
deaf very soon after her first illness.
Just few days- ago,. while at the house
of a neighbor, she jokingly remarked, "I
never felt better in all my life." Her re*
mains were taken to Brantford for inter -
