Huron are ahead of their co -laborers in
the southern part of the county, where a
considerable amount of grain is still out-
standing. Hereabouts, nearly all grain is
gathered, and farmers are into fall -plow-

Forest, '(son-in*law of Mr. H. Smith) re-
moves to"Denver, Colorado, He had been
out there some time before, and found the
change very beneficial to his health,
hence his reason for removing; he has
also a .good. opportunity for engaging in
business there.
AGAIN SUCOESSEUL.--Huron riflemen
invariably appear in the' 'prize list of
matches wherever they compete, and we
are pleased to see that at the 'Watches of
the Ontario Rifle Association, in Toronto,
where the best shots in the Province cow

In the matches en Monday, Messrs. Rob-

fell astraddle of the fence, the picket en-

bad flesh wound, inflammation setting in,
and one of his legs swelling to twice its
natural size. ' He is under medical treat-

year, in attending to the reyision of the
Provincial Voters List. As the next: local
elections. will be heldotu these lints, it is
quite natural that both sides shogld•seek-
to have the lista made as correct as pos-
sible, and of course where names are im-
properly left off or wrong in .any partiou-
lar.that might deprive the individual_of.a
vote, it is only:right thatthe error be
rectified. Against the lists ;for the torn,
of Clinton the Reformers have entered 68
appeals; of these 18 are ;to.strike ofd', 20. to
change in one Way or another, -and 30 to
