Market quotations for many weeks have
been without material cluing?, and still
continue about the same, with a shade
easier. At present there does not appear
to be any prospect of an improvement' for
the seller, and it is not at all likely that
prices will go up at any rate till next
spring. Although not much breadstuff
is exported from the southern hemisphere,
where harvesting will soon commence, if
the crops are good they have au appre-
ciable effect in keeping down prices. As
yet but little pork or beef ,have been
brought in, prices not suiting preducers.
