deuce, mill feed, Tuckersmith, on the 15th,
inst., Peter McTavish, jr, aged 19 years'
and 10 months, The subject of the above
was a, robust young man a year ago, but.
about that time he took what was termed
slight cokl. This cold eontinued getting
worse until last fell, when it was termed
by the attending physicians consumption.
Immediately after this he started for
Colorado, but met with relatives in Ka
sas, who prevailed on him staying, where
he remained, continually becoming worse,
until his recovery becameshopeless. When
this news reached his friend; his father
mhiediate]y startedafter him and eue-
ceeded in landing him safely at home
about twenty-foer hours before his death.
