By -Law No. 10 for 1907 of the' Town
of Clinton,
IHEREAS it. is expedient to construct a
ty complete system ot waterworks for the
supplying of water for domestic use, ilre
protection and other purposes for the
Town of Clinton;
And whereas the total estimated cost Of the
proposed system is $53,000; '
And whereas it is necessary to raise by way
of loan upon the credit of the said town the
sum of 553,000 to meet the cost of the said
waterworks system and the expenses incident
to negotiating debentures to be issued for the
said sum; 1„;
And whereas the sum 05853,000 is tho debt in-
tended to be created by this by-law; -
And wheretie the total amount required by
the "Municipal Act" to be raised annually for
3() years by special rate for paying the said
debt and interest is the stun of 93199.02, where-
of $2380.00 is to be so ritised annually for,. pay-
ment of interest during the currency of mad.
debentures, and 81.114.02 is to be raised an:

yisions of the Municipal Act and the Munici;
-pal Waterworks Act is thereby authorized. •
2. It shall be lawful for the purpose or rais-
ing the said's= to Jamie dobonthres of • the
said Town of Clinton in sumo of not loss than
51000 each amounting in the. whole • to $53:600
each of which debentures: shall be Anted on
the 1st day.of Deedinber next and shall-130.par
able on the first day of December, 1937, at a
stated place in Clinton aforesaid; and the Said
debentures 'shall bear interest at fonr-and-cno-
hull per centuni per annum payable annually
at the place stated in the- .debentures on the
1st day -of December in. Amon and every year
during the currency of the debentures except
that the last paynient of interest shall fall due
on the date of maturity of the debentures; and
