Daly was charged With vagrancy.
Several infnrnlritiotis hod been laid by
boarding house keepers to the effect
that no cash had ever been received
for the accommodation afforded. One
complainant gave credit from June 10
to Jill), 15 last on the mere statement
of Daly that ,be had money coming
from an andel man.

Rally Martin, took the stand in his
own' behalf. He•told the magistrate

had received $3,000 incash. The same,
