took' place in* Montgomery, Mich;, lash•
week, there passed away, • a former
resident of Huliett township and
a man who will be remembered by
many of the .oeler residents. Deceas
ed was a native of Peel County, but
came to this township while still a
child and spent all his early life here.
He married Mary Howson, daughter
of the late Robert Howson of . this
township, but his • wife died over
thirty years ago and since that time
Mr: Bell has spent a great part of the
tunic : in the United States, having
lived °some time in Montana. •:Ile vie -

where his wife's mother, who is now

There are two sisters living, Mrs.
Jolla Laaham of .Londesboro, and Mrs

rington of ilullett is one. Deceased
is also survived by two soni and • *-
daughter. Dr. Herbert 13e11 of Ment -
pinery, Mich,, at whose 'home his fa-
ther died; is the eldest son. The oth-
er is also in Michigan and is a drug
