across to Bayfield on the second
mentioned day to attend the funer-
al of his brother Henry who died
at Midland, Mich.
Miss Baker of Kingston has accepted
the position of Commercial teacher
on the C. I. Board made vacant by
the resignation of Miss Fisher. Miss
Baker will assume her duties at the
beginning of the new year. This
will be the, only change in the staff.
Mr. D. W. Io Cantelon, eldest son
of Mr. Peter Cantelon, who has
been in the west for the past few
months and returned but a week
or so ago, has seeured a position
with the Royal bank and takes bis
p?aee on the staff of the Clinton
branch this week.

Dr. John: Gunn, who practiced med-
icine . nt Aliso. Craig for 85 years,
died after a brief 41ITwss at his

and Donald Gunn, of Gunns, Limited.
Dr. Gunn. is survived by a widow,
two sons, Dr. John Gunn of Port
Dover, and • Andrew W. Gunn, a
druggist of Santa Fe, Montana, and
a daughter, Lillian, at home. Hec-
tor Gunn, 120 Albany avenue, Tor-
onto, and Dr. Wni. Gunn, Clinton, are
brothers, and Mrs. John Ross,
Glasgow, Scotland, is a sister.
