On Wednesday e ening of last week
the opera house w -crowded, the Poi -
antler Sisters bein billed- to give
one of their grand entertainments, un-
der, the auspices of the N.M.C.A. The
musical numbers were all fine, Mies
Helena's cornet solo, "Nellie Gray
with variattons," being a mastees
piece. A flute solo by Miss Ina K.,
was beautifelly rendered. In the last
number of the first part of the
program three of the sie-
ters gave a portrayal of
'Gipsy life and sing a Gipsy
trio. The String Quartette sang some
conege songs which were very well
received indeed. There were also sev-
eral readings, "After The Ball," • 'and
some others. The reader, Miss Le
Seba, was warrnly applauded. Mies
E. Phyllis delighted the audience by
her beautiful rendering of the new
reeng "Goodbye."
