marriage of their- eldest daughter,
Ethel, to Dir. Edgar J. Trewartha, a
popular and pioSperpus young farmer

The ceremony was performed by
Rev, .Mr. Snowden in the presence of
about thirty guests, all of wboni
were relatives or intimate friends of
the contracting parties. The bride
was very tastefully. gowned in cream
• silk poplin with yolk of .over lace,
and the bridesmaid, bliss Mabel Jer-
vis, wore cream silk mull. Both car-
ried flowers and each wore the
groom's gift, a handsoitie gold piateet
.with jewels: Mr. Blit 'lrewartha,
brother of the groom, acted as
groomsman.
After the ceremony and whets the
newly -wedded pair had received the
eongratulai' ons of their asstmitled
friend:=, all sat down to a dainty and
well -served repast.
D1r. and Mrs. 'Trewartha will reside
on the 9th. and their natty friends
join in •.wishing them long life, hap.
piness and prosperity. •

past week. The temptation is no
