pital; we take the following, which will
be of interest to his many friends here
in Lucknow:
."Yesterday I received- three' letters
from„Canada and each one contained
some Maple leaves., I took them to the
• ward and decorated my sick toys with
theni,.keeping one from each letter- for
myself, You ought to have seen those
careworn faces lighten up when I gaVe
them the emblem of their own dear
country. They were very proud of them,
and if I had pinned the much coveted
