urday to attend the ahetion sale of the
McGarry property and to take ficlyantage,
of. the special sales advertised by a num-
ber of our inerchants, that the town had
the appearance of a celebration day. It
was, the biggest crowd seen here since
Fall•Fair day. The McGarryproperty

gette and fittingly responded to by the
bride's father and Mr. Robert Davison,
uncle of the groom. The remainder•of
the. evening was spent in games and

music, both vocal andinstrumental,
wkich was enjoyed by all- present. The
presents were both nuinerous and valu-
able, among which was the ,beautiful
leather rocker and quarter -cut oak ped-
estal, the Oft of the Zion congregation'
to the bride, and a hancisope Bell organ,
the gift of her parents. The gropm's
gift was a cameo pendant, With settings
of pearl; to the Orgentat a ring set with
pearls. The happy . young couple left
for their home in Ashfield, followed by
the hest wishes of a boat of friends.
