Much sympathy is being expressed
this week for Mr. James Jewitt and
family because of thedeath of Grace
Catherine, a daughter nine years of age.
• The little girl had been ailibg for about

In the military:competitions at Wal-,
kerttin on May 24th two prizes came tn
the Lucknow Detachment. One was for
"meeting guard", a ' company, compe-
tition. The guard • wp.s . in charge of.
Serge. George Taylor. The other prize
was won by:Sergt. Taylor personally and
was in the "manual at arms' competition.
The men were lined up and each one

was the last to stand, The success of
