The usual Christmas services Will
be held on Sunday, . with special
music, • .
The annual entertainment and
Christmas Tree. in connection . with
the Sunday school was held in. . the
- town hall on Tuesday evening and
was a very successful one. The pro-
gram, which was given solely by the
members of the school, consisted of
catitatas, drills, recitations and mus-
ical numbers, and considering the
fact that only about two weeks was
„
spent in practising, they were eXeeen-
ingly well rendered. Special - men-
tion might be made of the cantata re-
presenting the .holidays of the year,
given by a large number of boys and
girls, and which was very interesting,
the elitnax being reached when little
Barry Combe, a, little tot, daughter
of Major Combo, came. out and
crowned Cid loather Christmas King
of the year. Much credit is thle those
'who trained the children and the
children themselves are to be eon-
gratinasen.
At the conclusion of the prOgrain
the hearts 01 the children were Made
glad by the distribution of the pros-
