turned from a five -weeks trip to
the *land ns the heather. Ile visited a
number of places of historic interest
or vommereial importance. and while
much pleased and impressed. -with
what he savv he could not be induced
to make his' home in that country.
The climate for one thing does —not
begin to cOmpare with the land of
• the maple leaf and that of itself is
a matter of considerable importance.
Mr. Steep enjoyed bis holiday but
was glad to get back., as were his
numerous friends to welcome him
home again and to learn that his
health had been considerably benefit-
; tett. Mr. Steep combined. a little bus-
iness with pleasure and brought home
a thorobred Clyde.
