matrimonial 'bonds to Mr. Jas. Ir-
win of Kinloss. The ceremony was
performed by Rev. S. H. 'Moyer of
St. Helens at 5 p. m. in the presence
of over one hundred guests who had
gathered to witness the intereating
ceremony, The bride was given away
by her father and was daintily attir-
ed in point de spray over silk. The
bride was assisted by her sister Mary
while the groom's brother acted as
groomsman. The Wedding Mara was
played by Miss Lizzie Rutherford. Af-
ter the ceremony the guests repaired
to the basement where a sumptuous
dinner was prepared' for them. The
groom's gift to the bride was a gold
bracelet and to the bridesmaid a gold
brooch. The evening was spent in
various amusements and every one
went home well pleased with the ev-
