day,' by which a number of changes haye
been made. in the time of several of the
trains. The most important of these is the '
changing of the time of the first train east
in the morning from 8 o'clock to 6.10, so
that persons having business to attend to
in the east will have a better opportntilty
of attending to it and returning the sanie
day, and the noon:train from:12.40 to 1.05.

day-. The day was very unfavorable in-
deed for shooting, a s oissg, wind blowing,

church here, at 10.30 a.m., by Rev. Mr.
Blatchfotd, iit the evening by Rev. W. S.

also preaches at Hohnesville in the morn-
ing and Alma in the afternoon. On the
Monday evening following a public meets
ing will be held in the church here, to be
addressed by Mr, Pascoe and others.

NEW HOTEL. ---The Grand Pacific Hos
is the name of a new hotel just finished
Winnipeg. Its proprietor is Mr. J. T.
Hadley, formerly working in the Royal
Hotel, here, and is one Of the men who
made a great deal of money -during the
boom last February. The hotel 5s said to
bc one of the finest in the north west,
and is managed by Geo. Stoddart, former-
ly -with W. J. McCutcheon, of Wingham:
Mrs. 'Hadley was formerly a Clinton lady,
and Will be remembered by many -here,-
