The annual meeting of the South Hiiron Liberal Conservative Association, was held in the Temperance Hall, Clinton, on the 19th inst., commencing at 11.o'clock representa-• tivea from every municipality in the riding being present to the number of over 100. The Prealident,Mr. D. H. Ritchie,was in the and addressed the meeting at length, giving an account of the proceedings of the associa- tion during the past year, and also an acco4nt of the general convention held at Toronto Iast• fall. Macdonald,, and have every confidence in his leadership, believing that the future prosperity of this young Dominion depends on its continuance, and pledge ourselves to use every legitimate means for the return of our Conservative candidates for the House of Commons and Legislative A'S sembly. • The meeting was brought to a close by giv- ing three hearty cheers for the .Queen and Sir.
