Gris- dale, Dominion Agricifitdrist, a differ - ewe of opinien developed between the sPeaker and some of the members Of the committee as to the value of fin- ishing export ' stock on grass. Mr. Jackson, one of the metnbers, main - tabled that fully 50 per cent. of the stock in Ontario are finished 'upon grass. Ho, thought . that experiments along this line should be conducted at the Central Experiment Farm. Mr. Grisdale admitted that if they had the available fields at the farm, suer experiments would: be interesting.
