Province, who seem to gather in the
larger centres during the early winter
months, it has been decided by the
Associated Charities* to open a %free
1 employment bureau in Toronto. This
Iappeal is being sent broadcast through
the Province to the manufacturers,
farmers and ell people who employ
lanor to co-operate in this 'work;and it
10 earnestly hoped that any one need-
•ing help of any kind, skilled or un-
skilled, will apply direct to the "To-

of a very gracious revival in Exeter.

united and the meetings are held in
the James Street 'Methodist Church.
A feature of last Thursday night's
meeting was the coming out of about
forty young men,who nearly filled the
altar, from end to end. The whole
town is being moved by .the great
work.

.The followit2g were among the
cases heard at the non -jury sittings'
of the High Court. in Goderich last
week: •
Yesbec v. The Canadian Trust Co.
The plaintiff, Paul Yesbec, is a pedlar
in Goderich, and the defendant is the
duly appointed executor and trustee of
the estate and effects of plaintiff's
brother, Peter Yesbec,Iate of the town
of Olinton, who, the plaintiff claimed,
made a promissory note on October 15,
1002, in favor of the plaintiff for $035,
payable on demand, with interest at
the rate of 5 per cent, per 'annum, on
which it was claimed there was now
owing $1,307,05. The plaintiff also
alleged•a loan of $100 by him to the
estate of his brother for funeral services
in Syria. His Lordship directed judg-
ment to be entered for the plaintiff for
the sum of $402,05, with costs on the
County Courrecale; thirty days' stay.

adjourned from the May assizes, and
by consent of Council trial of the ac -

at Clinton,and the defendant a farmer
residing near Goderich Tovenshilx
The plaintiff asks for a re -conveyance
of land in the townehip of Goderich to
