Rev. T. T. Shields, of London, has
made a splendid impression by his
clear and forcible presentation of truth
-in the four addresses he has given in
Clinton, No one who bas heard him
can wonder at his great 'popularity;
for he commands attention from. his
first wc,rd.; He has a magnetic parson-
ality, which in itself, attracts in a
special way, while his abilities es a
speaker rank very high. Hie addresses
display a Orin grasp of the deep truths
of the word of God, and he is faithful
to the old doctrines, and in allhis work
magnified the soyereign -grace of God.
• We hope he will visit Clinton on some
turedate, and he will be sure of a
hearty reception,
