Santa likes stuffed animals, super hero toys and vacuums
A quick break
Mrs. Jamieson's Grade 1 class at Maitland River Elementary took a quick break from its dress
rehearsal to tell The Citizen which toys they think are Santa's favourites. Back row, from left:

When it comes to Santa Claus'
playtime, students in Mrs.
Jamieson's Grade 1 class at Maitland
River Elementary School had a wide
range of ideas as to what toys he
plays with.
"I don't think Santa plays at all.
He has to work with the elves and
make cookies with Mrs. Claus."
Jackson C.
"I think Santa Claus plays with
stuffed puppy dog toys because they
are great and they are my favourite."
Brianna F.
"Santa Claus probably plays with
super hero action figures like
Superman, Batman and Spider -
Man."
Sarah E.
"If I were Santa Claus, I would
play with monster trucks. I would
get the elves to make me big monster
trucks to play with because they are
cool and Santa and me would want
to play with them"
Rhys F.
"Santa Claus would have to play
with a toy train because that's what
boys like to play with at Christmas."
Shia R.
"Santa Claus plays Pokemon cards
with the elves maybe. He likes
Pokemon, I think, so he probably
plays that"

"Santa Claus collects Rudolph
toys. He gets them all the time
because he likes to play with
Rudolph toys with Rudolph the
reindeer and that's funny because
Rudolph is playing with toys of
Rudolph."

"There are stuffed elf toys and I
think Santa would play with them
because he loves Christmas and
that's a Christmas toy."

"Santa would like airplanes
because he could make magic
engines for them that would fly
around his workshop and look cool."

"Santa would probably make
himself a toy vacuum because
maybe he likes vacuuming and
keeping his sled clean."

"There are probably a lot of trains
at the North Pole because the elves
are always making trains so Santa
probably plays with them because he
can have any one he wants"
