JOHANNA BLAKE
Johanna is the daughter of Steve and Katherine Blake of
RR2, Brussels. An Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill School,
Johanna is attending the University of Western Ontario in
London to study engineering.
CARLENE BREMNER
An Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill School, Carlene is
the daughter of Jerry and Vicky Bremner of RR3, Blyth.
Carlene will be pursuing a yet -to -be determined post
secondary education.
SABRINA HIUSSER
The daughter of Jeffory Hiusser and Sonya Gibson of
Brussels, Sabrina is an Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill
School. Sabrina is continuing her education in the fall.
RACHEL MINERS
Rachel is the daughter of Glenn Miners and Diane
Warwick of Bluevale. This Ontario Scholar is a F.E. Madill
School graduate who will be pursing an education in police
foundations at Georgian College in the fall.
EDISON PEEL
An F.E. Madill School Ontario Scholar, Edison will be
attending the University of Guelph to study engineering.
Edison is the son of Nathan and MaryAnn Peel of Bluevale.
AMELIA PLETCH
Ontario Scholar Amelia is the daughter of Melanie Pletch
of RR1, Belgrave. In the fall, this F.E. Madill School
graduate will be returning to Madill to further her education.
REGAN RYTER
Regan will be attending Fanshawe College to study
business marketing in the fall. This F.E. Madill School
graduate and RR4, Brussels resident is an Ontario Scholar
and daughter of Uli Ryter and Dorene Cardiff.
PHAEDRA SCOTT
Phaedra is the daughter of Michael Scott and Arden
Farrow of RR3, Blyth. An Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill
School, Phaedra will be attending Conestoga College to
study business foundations.
FAITH SEBASTIAN
An Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill School, Faith is the
daughter of Paul and Kathy Sebastian of Brussels. She will
be attending the University of Western Ontario to study
English language and literature.
EMILY STENNETT
Emily, the daughter of Mark and Elizabeth Stennett of
Belgrave is an Ontario Scholar from F.E. Madill School.
Emily will be attending the University of Guelph to study
animal biology.

A new attraction
Blyth's Herman Mooy brought a new attraction to the
annual reunion of the Huron Pioneer Thresher and Hobby
Association through an old implement. Through months of
preparation, Mooy maintained a plot of potatoes to show off
his McCormick Deering 1928 potato harvester, shown
above. With the help of some young assistants who were
later paid in potatoes, Mooy showed how potatoes used to
