Rain doesn't dampen fun to be had at reunion The big weekend Few events have as large an impact on the population of Huron County as the annual reunion of the Huron Pioneer Thresher and Hobby Association. With thousands of visitors and hundreds of campsites filled, the event brings in droves of fans. Clockwise from top left: Steam engines are the star of what is coloquioally referred to as the steam show; The Blyth Lions food booth was a great place to get a snack with Lion Sharen Stadlemann and Hullett Public School Grade 8 students Kiara Driscoll and Brinna Bremner dressing hamburgers; John Heaman entertained the masses; the annual church service kicked off with music from Audibly Awesome; blacksmiths plying their trade; the antique car show was a big hit and the new Memorial Building was opened as part of the festivities on Friday, from left: association Vice -President Doug McCann, association Director Ray Hallahan, Paul Josling who was originally part of the drive for the shed, MP Ben Lobb, association President Peter Hendriks, Rev.
