Place in time This photograph, which appeared in The Blyth Standard in 1903, will be recreated this Friday night by the Blyth Festival, or at least be honoured in spirit as the Festival attempts to document this special place in time. (Photo submitted) THE CITIZEN, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2016. PAGE 17. Photograph set for Friday night Continued from page 1 can help preserve what is a special time for Blyth. The Festival season has been a successful one, Garratt says, in that over 4,000 more people have made their way through Blyth this year than did last year. To be able to bring in one of the Festival's audiences, as well as members of the community and this year's theatre company before they head home would be a unique opportunity to create a photograph that could live on for years. Obituaries Terry Manzo, the Festival's regular photographer, will be on hand to capture the moment, likely from the roof of one of the buildings across Queen Street. McHenry says that he and Garratt hope that anyone who lives and works in Blyth will make their way to Memorial Hall to be involved. McHenry says that all are welcome and that there's no need to pre -register. The picture will be taken at Memorial Hall on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m. and the event will go ahead rain or shine.
