Spring on the Trail
With the warm weather arriving
and truly making it feel like spring,
it's time for the sixth annual Spring
on the Trail, which will take place on
Saturday, May 14. Friends and
families are encouraged to get off
the couch, dust off their bikes and
hiking boots and make their way to
the Goderich-to-Guelph (G2G) Rail
Trail, for a day of fun, laughter and
good old fashioned exercise. Bike,
hike, run or walk this beautiful
trailway, which is bringing the
communities of Southern Ontario
together.
Checkpoints will be organized
throughout each of the trail
communities between Guelph and
Goderich to point out the way and to
ensure that everyone is safe and
having a good time. Everyone is
welcome to donate and support their
local trails, either at the event or
through the websites,
g2grailtrail .com or
springonthetrail.ca. Contributions
will go to Goderich to Guelph Rail
Trail Inc., our charitable
organization, in order to keep the
trailway accessible to everyone.

as investigating infrastructure
improvements that could be made
in our region.
The committee is hosting two free
