Church to host dinner PEOPLE AROUND BELGRAVE Singing faith At the Auburn/Blyth EMCC Women's Ministry's annual Faith in Song concert at the Blyth Christian Reformed Church Sunday night, a number of groups performed for those in attendance. On the stage that night was a quartet composed of four local pastors, the Belgrave Knox United Church's Chime -in Choir and the Place Street Boys, seen above, from Lucknow. The men's choir was a favourite with the crowd, which went home happy that night. The winners were: high pink card, Eileen Miller; second high pink card, Dorothy Carter; most shoots pink card, Judy Hahn; high white card, Ken Speer; second high white card, JoAnn MacDonald and most shoots white card, Pat Hunking. The next shoot party is on Friday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome. On Wednesday, April 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Stewards of Knox United Church are hosting a Swiss Chalet supper in the Belgrave Community Centre. Tickets are available at the Co-op. The Christian Resource Centre in Mitchell will have reduced hours from April 14 - May 30. It will only be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The London Conference UCW Annual Gathering is on Saturday, April 16 at Sprucedale United Church, Chatham. On Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m. the Conservative Mennonite Church Choir will harmonize many inspirational songs at Knox United Church. Come and enjoy an afternoon of music and fellowship.
