Obituaries NEIL "WIMPY" WILLIAMSON Neil "Wimpy" Williamson passed away suddenly while doing what he loved, working on farm equipment, on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016. He was 66. Neil was the loving husband for 46 years of Doris (nee Baker) Williamson of RR 1, Walton and dear son of Helen Williamson and the late Herbert and son-in-law of Dorothy Baker and the late Meade. He was the loving dad of Gary Williamson and Brian and Lorie Williamson and the cherished grandpa of 10 and great -grandpa of three. Neil was the dear brother of Eileen (Dave) Morrison, Wayne (Linda) Williamson, Eric (Jackie) Williamson, Lois (Chris) Hodgson and brother-in-law of Ed (Pat) Baker, Betty (John) Walsh and Jim (Sheila) Thompson. Neil will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Neil's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association are appreciated and can be made through McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth. Isaiah 30:16 Carmen Milne Gross of Auburn, passed peacefully into his Lord's presence on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016. He was 87. Carmen was the loving husband of Christena Cunningham for 57 years and dear father and father-in-law of Steven and Shirley Gross, Blyth; David and Lois Gross, Ancaster; Barbara and Owen Steele, Wasaga Beach; Gary Gross, Auburn and Susan and Janos Botschner, Guelph. Carmen will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Alyssa and Aadan Rigby, Aaron Gross, Logan and Ellen Steele and Hansi, Atti and Anna Botschner. He was predeceased by his parents William and Ida (Regele) Gross and brothers and sisters -in-laws Clayton and Alexandra Gross, Harold and Bernie Gross, William Gross, Ronald Gross and sister Elva Brown and is survived by brother and sisters-in-law Gordon and Bernice Gross, Marguerite Gross and brother-in-law John Brown. Carmen will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and neighbours. Carmen was a quiet and gentle spirit, a devoted family man and skilled farmer. His clever mind and interest in trying his hand at just about anything resulted in many interesting inventions, projects and fond memories. He always encouraged family to follow their own interests and pursuits and proudly celebrated their milestones and achievements. Visitation will be held at Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton on Feb. 24 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Feb. 25 beginning at 1 p.m. with service following at 2 p.m. Spring interment will be at Hope Chapel Cemetery, Hullett Township. Born in the Netherlands on May 24, 1946, Martin was in his 70th year. Martin was the beloved husband of Rikie and will be sadly missed by his children Rein and Cheryl van den Heuvel, Seaforth; Kees and Lora van den Heuvel, Peterborough; Theodora van den Heuvel, Moose Jaw, SK; Susan van den Heuvel and Paul McGrath, Yellowknife, NWT and his grandchildren Deric, Chelsea, Celina and Nathan. Martin was also loved by his siblings Wies van den Heuvel, the Netherlands; Dora and Bart Dykman, Chatham; Rene and Kathy van den Heuvel, Highgate; his brother-in-law Ad Mulders and sister-in-law Diny Sonneveldt, both of the Netherlands. He was predeceased by his sister Adriana and brother-in-law Jan Sonneveldt. Vigil prayers were followed by the receiving of friends on Tuesday, Feb. 16 from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home and on Wednesday, Feb. 17 prior to the funeral mass from St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Brussels. Rev. Father Keith Morrison officiated. Pallbearers were Paul McGrath, Bart Dykman, Jeroen Vlug, Hans Dykman, Peter Albers Sr. and Peter Albers Jr. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Seaforth Hospital Foundation or to St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church.
