In memoriam
ALCOCK. In loving memory of a
dear mother and grandmother, Isabel
Alcock who left us January 14,
2009.
Through all our troubles, you helped
us along,
You taught us well, you made us
strong.
On earth you were loved, in heaven
you rest,
God bless you Mother, you were the
best.
— Remembered by Betty and family
and Debbie Jones and families.

BROMLEY. In memory of Willis,
who passed away January 13, 2014.
Maybe we cannot touch your hand,
Maybe we cannot hear your voice,
Or feel your warm embrace,
But you will always be with us,
Tucked safely in our hearts.
Your love for us, our love for you,
Will never let us part,
You did so many things for us,
Your heart was kind and true,
Whenever we needed someone,
We could always count on you.
Those special years will not return,
When we were all together,
But memories of joy and love,
Will remain with us forever.
— Dearly loved and sadly missed by
Marie and families. 02-lp
JOHNSTON, Dave. In loving
memory of our dear son, who
tragically passed away January 12,
2015.
Just when your life was brightest,
Just when your years were the best,
You were called from this world,
To a home of eternal rest.
No one knows how much we miss
you;
No one knows the bitter pain
We have suffered since we lost you;
Life has never been the same.
Days of sadness still come over us,
Tears in silence often flow,
Memories keep you ever near us,
Though you died one year ago.
In our hearts your memory lingers,
In memoriam
There is not a day, dear son,
That we do not think of you.
— We are so proud of the legacy you
left us and how well the farm is
doing. Love, Mom and Dad. 02-1
In loving memory of
Dave Johnston
June 22, 1973 -January 12, 2015
Today's the anniversary
Of the day that we lost you,
Your witty personality
And contagious giggle too.
But loss has taught us
many things
And now we face each day,
With hope and happy
memories
To help us on our way.
And though we're
full of sadness
That you're no longer here,
Your influence still guides us
As we still feel you near.
What we shared will never die
It lives within our hearts,
Bringing strength and comfort
While we are apart.
We miss you!
Forever in our hearts!
Love, Your Family

seeks
special
meeting

hectic and rushed.
Several councillors, such as
Central Huron Mayor Jim Ginn,
thought it was crucial that Huron
County get the issue on the
province's radar as early as possible.
He said he'd still like to present at
ROMA/OGRA, even if the research
isn't yet complete and conclusive, to
let the province know that the
research is being done and
previewing what Huron County
expects to find.
In addition, Ginn said he felt that
ROMA was the perfect place for the
presentation, as AMO has already
gone on record as agreeing with the
province in regards to the OMPF
situation.
While some councillors agreed
with Ginn's thinking, others were
fearful that the research may not
turn up exactly what Huron County
staff thinks it might.
While some councillors laughed
that sentiment off, others agreed,
saying there would be substantial
egg on the county's face if grand
statements were made at the
ROMAJOGRA conference, but in
the end the research backed the
province's claims
Ginn said he was almost at the
point where he'd "bet the farm" that
the province's moves were hurting
Huron County, but not quite, stating
that "it's a really nice farm."
Council then agreed to send
correspondence to the province
stating that Huron County would
like a special session with the
Minister of Finance away from the
delegation setting of either the
ROMA/OGRA or AMO confer-
ences to further discuss the issue of
OMPF funding and uploads hurting
Huron County and its municip-
alities. The motion was carried.
