Hall on Monday evening for the
Lions Club Christmas meeting.
In recognition pf this•special ef-
fort, some twenty ladies were
palled to the platform • and were
given the , Lions Roar- hy some
eighty members Who .were in at
tendance despite King Winter.
The prpgrain was prepared by
the Holyrood Lions, whp• were
given a Place at the head .table.
Guests present were Allan Mae-

Fisher, • Lloyd Ackert Attie Ack-
ert and .Karen Carruthers. The
'girls. contributed two vocal duets
and. Frank ThoMpson and Elliott
Carruthers also sang a duet, with.
accompaniment by. Mrs. Ross I
•Cumming. Christmas carols were
used for .the sing -song.
The, regular meeting of Decem-•
tier .22nd has been •cancelled, the
next meeting to . be the second
