attended. ;Following the film a
talk on 'What , dairy cows have.
done for us in/the past,' was :give

proceeded to; the milk- plant of
Stacey :Brother_Ltd. in Mi

to see the 'plant .in operation.

MRS;. G. W. GARDNER'
The .•death,, occurred . ,on . Friday,
June' 21th,• of Mrs G. W. Gard-
n}er"., of ,Tottenham, Ontario..
The former: Amelia 'Lavina
Howey, :she' was the eldest daugh
ter of ` ;the; late James G Howey;
and Mary'Jane;. Burns of `Luck-.
now. '
., While teaching schoolin the:.
Norwood • district she... met `. and
married Rev: G. W Gardner who
is .presently., serving - the ` United
Church pastorates of Tottenham
and . Beeton : .
Mrs. Gardner. was considered
an `exceptionally able • Sunday
School teacher and was an.. -un-.
tiring, worker, in the 'aid: of
church missions.; •
The • funeral '_•service was' hld
in Tottenham United Church at
.2:00 p.m on, Sunday;: June'- 29th,
with • interment at 'Norwood' on
Monday. • • •
Besides her :`husband, she: is.
survived. by three 'sisters ..arid
two . brothers, both of Lucknow: `

The July meeting of the Kin-
tail W.I. was heldat the .home
Of Mrs. Bill Johnstone with a.
large " crowd `in" attendance.. The
correspondence was read con-
cerning a 'float and we will def-
initely. be there pushing or
drawing something—0n .heels:, to:
. represent the Kintail• Institute
at the forthcoming.Lucknow Cen-
tennial.: The Institute picnic will
be .held ori August 14th at. Kin=
tail ,school grounds.' •
The 'roll, call was answered by'.

members were raised' in' the ideal
