THE. -WILDERNESS
Last week's issue of Weekend
Magazine, •carried a photo story
in colour of Christmas 1958, at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack.
Webster at Uranium City, The
'Webster family is now " at Ed-
monton. • ;•
Jack, a native of this •commune
where his aged mother still
resides, is an experienced ',miner,
and .was accompanied by the
family to Uranium City in the
fall of 1956 — intending to stay
just a year. Last year wastheir
third and last '"Yuletide in The
Wilderness," a remote outpost
on the Northern' tip of Saskat-
chewan on the 60th parallel

Mrs. Webster is 'a graduate
nurse. They have three children,:
