A. cottage, completed only the
day before on Thanksgiving day;,
was, completely 'destroyed by
fire late Tuesday, afternoon' at
Bonnett's Lake in is inloss ' Town-
ship. shi . • The fire of undetermined
origin had practically burned' the
cottage to. the ground: before the
Lucknow Fire, Department, ar-
rived on • the' scene. The .. floor,
and a portion of the .:framework
• was all that 'remained standing
of- the modern. summer' home
that was completely insulated
and furnished. •
Although we were unable to
contact the, owner who lives in
Brantford, the pottage is believed
to belong to . Dan Gambrart of
that city. He had erected the cot-
tage about a . year , ago and 'had
trade soine finishinjg• touches on
Thanksgiving • day. Only two
cottages are on Bennett's lake
located about 'a mile and quarter
south and a mile and a quarter
west of "Blackhorse"
