Dunlop Institute to visit them at
their neict meeting on June 24t11;,
1959, at Carlow. Mrs, Darr Wylds
played for • the Queen .and Grace
after which a lovely :lunch was
served by those in charge. Mrs.
Wylds was ' the hostess, at our
May nneeting at the Kintail• Com-
munity Hall. •
ROAD SUPERVISOR
'DIED. SUDDENLY
Death came suddenly on 'Fri-
day to .John Gibson Gillespie of
Wihitechurch, who. for nearly
forty,. years „.had been Road Sup-
ervisor for the Department of
Highways (Stratford Division)..
'Gib", • as severyone called him
waswidely and favorably known.
He had not enjoyed good
health for, a few months, and•
had returned from visiting the
-doctor in' Wingham about noon
hour on Friday, when he eo1-
lapsed and passed .away suddenly
•from•• a heart seizure upon ..:get -
,ting out of the • car at his, home..

a; on of the late John Gillespie,
and 'Agnes Bailey and was born

He was a member of White-
chur. oh United Church, . and was
a member of the session. Frater-
nally he was a member :• of the
Wingham Masonic .Order and of
the Royal Arch . Masons. Last.
rites of :the Order were confer-
red at a memorial .serviee at the
Currie funeral home on Sunday
evening. .

his wife, theformer. Eunice Ped•

sister, Mrs.' Charles Martin. (Cath

He. was predeceased` by a bro-
