MRS. BARBARA STOTAERS
The death of Mrs, Barbara
Stothers occurred at the -Greer
Convalescent Home on Monday,.
April 27th in her 90th, year,
She Was a daughter of, the late
Malcolm MacMillan and Cathe.
rine 1VIcCailum and was born in
Ashfield .Township on July 3rd,
186-9: She was the' last member
of the family. ..
'In 1901 MissMacMillan• Mar-
ried John Stothers,, who -passed
away nine years later ; in 1910,
Mrs,'Stothers had been ,a. life-
long ..resident of Ashfield
Lucknow, moving here . many
years ago with • her brother Mal-'
colm, For!`a number o' ';years. she
;made her • home with her sister,.
Mrs Henry.: Mullin, who prede-
ceased Tier; • » • ••
" Mrs; •Stothers. was of a gentle,.
unassuming disposition and was
held in highest regard, by all who
knew her. She was a member of
the United Church and :of the
Woman's Association,, and had
been faithful • in attendance when
health permitted. .
The funeral service.: was .con
ducted by Rev. Gordon Geiger
at the McLennan and , MacKen-
zie Memorial Chapel''. on . Thurs-
day, April ; 30th, •with interment
in Dungannon ' Cemetery. The
pallbearers were Cleveland: Bit -

Gordon Mullin; William Mullin.
