bigger dairy enterprise at Stouff-
ville, and after a few years .the
home town 'called him back and
he ,took'over ..the Quality Shop,
a ladies and `mens store_ operat-
ed by Wes` Huston ;and ..Harvey
Treleaven. They • eventually sold
this' :business to', Mike and •Ann
Sanderson..
Charlie worked for 'a .time for
Rae and Porteous, and on Feb-
ruary lst, 1954, over five years.

and bought out Rae and Porteous
who had been in business :here
for n years; as successors to Mc-
Leod and Joynt in 1921 •
