flation' is debt. Debt in every,
direction, you Zook;.. bonds and
mortgages : and other debts. All
.debt: charges are carried by pro
duction: Taxes- "and wages 'go ups'

spiral, .and *hen added up, the
.answer is „inflation and ' nothing
can stop it under' our ' present
_financial system.
What are we to do about .it? 1
.Two reforms are essential, mone-
tary
and taxation. Restore to
parliament the 'right , to issue
money in all 'forms. The t B.N..A.
Act, and the courts 'gave ;parlia-
ment that right. We • gave .. it
away. The' government could.
then ,finance all public. works,
civil, social and military ser-
vices. without .,debt and interest
by using our national credit.
• Taxation, should not be used for
revenue purpose. It : should be
used as a regulation system, to
control ;both inflation and defla-
tion. This can be done. This is
a big subject. Space does not al-
low to go .further.
Who will bring on these . re-
forms? The Conservatives 'and
Liberals will not. They: both
stand on the, status quo, both are
social debters, The C.C.F. is. Mar-
xian.. Socialism under an stripe
is comm.unisin in slow.. ahotion.'
Also they are social. debters.
There is..only. one grou eft •and
that is the , people hemselves.
Will they ace?. I don' .think they
'will. They will ca on strag-
gling with a crushing load of
debt, strangling . taxation and ',ro-
bed with interest charges. It Is
,their . God given right. to suffer
more if they wish. Production
is 'not a problem. Itis distribu
tion and consumption. Only mon-
etary and taxation reform can
accorhplish this. It is up. ;to, the
people themselves:
