LORNE IODGINS
There :gassed. • away suddenly,
after a few hour's illness in Kin-
cardine General Hospital, Janu-
'ary 25, Robert John Lorne -Hod-
gins- s- in his 75th year.. •
Born in Kinloss township -on
October_21,...1884, the only son of
pipneer parents, John and Han-
nah Hodgins, he spent his entire
life farming and 6perating Silver
Lake surnrier resort. Lorne, as.
he ,was known to all .,his many
friends, and neighbours , will be.
sadly missed.:
He,leaves to mourn'his passing,
his wife 'Ethel', sons tJack of Ed-
monton, Ellison of Kinloss Twp.;
daughters, Mrs. E, J • Hedley
(Eileen) • -of;.St, Marys,. Mrs: d Ken-
neth . MacLeod (Betty) of Wind-
sor, Mrs. A. Leveque (Lorna) of
Guelph; also eleven grandchild
ren and one great • grandson. He
was predeceased by : an infant
daughter,. Helen Margaret and 1
sister, Abbey

Memorial :Chapel.' in Lueknow on
Wednesday, January 28 .with the

ited Church officating. Interment
was' in Greenhill Cemetery. Pall-

After an illness.. ofthree months
Miss Mary Elizabeth ' Bradley,
R,N. 'died in: Kincardine General
Hospital` January 29, in her fifty-
fourth •year. Mary` ` was the
daughter, of the late James and
Mary -(1VMoNain) Bradley and ,was
born in Ashfield- township where
they, resided • until 1926, when
they moved to -Kincardine. She
was a'. graduate of the. Stratford
General .Hos pital" and was , com-
pleting her twenty -:fifth, year as
a member of the Kincardine Gen-
eral Hospital'. staff:: ,
She was . of . quite . disposition
and as 'a nurse was : most profi-
cient int . all her, duties, . and was
`most happy. when she was 'minis-
tering to .those who were .sick.
Not only will she be missed: by
her friends, but by all those .with
whom she worked and to whom•
she rendered her services. Mary
Bradley was loved and respected,
by the; whole town and commun
She was a devout member of
'the Kincardine Baptist Church;,;
and was predeceased by her par
• ents and one brother, Marshall.
Surviving •are four brothers, John
of 'Ashfield. Township, Wilfred,
Samuel and -Elmer of Toronto
and several niecesand 'nephews..
Services were held at the Link -
later Funeral Hanle on Saturday,
January ,31 and were conducted
iztir the Rev. T. J. McDowell of the.

;Edmund :. Walsh passed away on
Tuesday, January. 26, at the
Wingham `. General ...Hospital. He
had .not'been too' well recently,
but suffered a severe heartattack
on Monday, from which he failed
to rally . `
Mr. Walsh was in his 76th year,
a Son of the late Mr. •and Mrs.
'James, Walsh of the 9th line; of,
• West Wawanoslx. He, continued
farming .on the homestead until
1944, When he retired to Wing
ham to reside with his sister, who . .
predeceased him in February,
1958.
He was a member of the Angli-
can 1Church•.:and is. ,survived by
one' sister; Mrs. ')Vj nnie.'Ketcha-
baw of Lucknow and' one brother'
Charles.Walsh 'of` 'Kipling Sask
The funeral : service ' was ' held.
on Saturday at.the Currie funeral
