TI E EDITORIAL COLUMN
After too long an absence The Sentinel•
is ':again carrying an editorial column, which'
we hope to be able to maintain with . some
regularity.
We do not ,profess to be .skilled editor-
ialists, nor topossess the , answers to the
niany problems that 'confrontthis troubled
world. ' However;: we have our opinions : on •
some matters, as should we all, and by ed-' •
itorializing : it will require us' to .do some
thinking on matters that might otherwise
be "shrugged off."
y If our.editorials cause our readers to do
likewise, ' and particularly if they cause
readers to agree or disagree to • the point
that they will write'. "Letters to the Editor;
we will have reason to feel that the effort is
worthwhile.•'
Already we have had more comment on
our editorial column than we anticipated.
And, we should • add, the efforts are ' not
entirely. those of "LaC.T." The two. lead
editorials in last week's issue were hy the
junior member ' of this father. and son com-
bination.
While this community, does not seriously
.feel 'the winter "slow up," none the less,
there, are many indoor jobs that -,can be
done now, rather' than when men and ma-
terials are in peakdemand" in, the spring,
summer and fall Months., Every hour's
work, every piece of equipment or material
purchased, adds to the overall program of
providing fuller empayment d
fullduring the
"off season." And, those contemplating'
home or farm improvements should bear
in mind there

• one of these CBC plays in which a bottle
was 'not flourished, or someone tied on a

be an., angel preaching righteousness; but.
