`Towns of Huron and Perth,
admittedly. .the .,driest in Ontario,
are taking much` :interest`' in
the operation or nod -operation',
of the C.T.A:"
•:; We ;quote from: an editor_ ial, in
the London Free' Press
heading used: by the Editor is
"What Does the C:T.A.. 'Do?"
Surely he 'gives at least a para;
tial a•n s w e `r in ;our ghotation'
above, "Admittedly' 'the 'Driest";
The C.T:A_ in spite of its imper-
fections. has for years kept Huron
and Perth the . driest counties' in
Ontario,' this too in spite` of the
fact • that Stratford, ` in . the heart
of Perth, is not under the C:TA..;
but under the .L.C.A.,, and has
many legal liquor outlets.
Why so 'dry?. Huron and Perth
outs ••> q,- tford, has no legal
liquor •• ets,, and cannot' have,
under the C.T.A.
Why do the liquor interests
want, the C.T.A.' . repealed,' not
amended? . 'Because an amended
C,T.A. would dry up Huron and
Perth, more than "ever.:-(•Advt.).;
