Cause was attributed to ' heart. cindition from which he had suffered for several years.. He was: 81 years' •of age. • The late Dr Lane was born:in Sault Ste. Marie; Ontario, son , of 'the . late John Lane of . Kinlougli and' Elizabeth, Rutherford Lane of Lucknow.
