Death came suddenly. on .Fri-,
day 'evening, 'June 24th to John
A. Thompson, a highly .respected'
resident of West Wawanosh
Township:: He was 56. john suf-
fered a coronary while he and
his bother, Donald Thornpson
were 'watching •a. favorite tele-
vision pregram. The brothers
were MsCparable comPailions.
John was a son of .the late
Uriah, Thompson and Florence
Martin and, was .born ,n .Sep-
teinber 9th, 1963 on •the' arm on
Concession .6, West Wawknosh,
where he spent, his lifetime and
where he. die4 so. unexpectedly.
He was a member of 'Donny-
brook United Church %and . Rev.
Ronald M., Sweeney 'conducted
the funeral service at the Arthur
Funeral Horne in Auburn on
Monday, June 27th. Interment

is leaving after having taught
here for four years. Mrs. J. Mc-

It is always interesting to fol-
low the progress of ,young:Pian-
ists for at each concert they are

were very much enjoyed.

ings were given by Mrs. R. Ha-
milton, Mrs. H. Clayton, Mrs.

Anger. .Mrs. Sandy' MacCharles
was pianist for the- afternoon,
accompanying •the school child-
ren as "they sang 'one of their
