57 friends gathered on. Saturday
night, .to help them celebrate
their 25th..wedding 'anniversary..
'The • affair was so ' much, of a
.surprise that • the guests of hon-
out; went to the show . in Wing-
ham. When they returned to
their farm on the 12th of West
Wawanosh' about 10,30 they
found • the • house full of friends
from. Brussels, Zurich, Morris
Township; Kitchener Stratford,
as 'well as the Lucknow district
and a. square dance in full swing:
• Each . lady brought ' a 'box' of
lunch; the ;crowd included about
ten musicians and a "special
friend arrived with. a' large wed=
ding cake to top off the celebra-
tion,

the gathering, and Rae Watson
made the presentation speech
