'Death, came suddenly early
Saturday morning • toGeorge
Munro MacMillan • in his 60h.
year. 'He died from a 'heart at-
tack at the home Of Mrs. Neil
MacCallwn in •Lucknow, where
he had. boarded for seven years.
George had .not enjoyed the best
Of `' • health for some time; but
his: death ' carne . as a distinct
shock. He las a' lifelong resident:
of the community, and for , 35
years had followed the carpenter
trade:
His death occurred .• just .two
weeks after his. 63rd birthday.
George was • born in Kinloss
Township on, February 6th, 1897,
one of a family of four sons of
John MacMillan. and Mary Ross.:

kern in` Chatham where he was;
visiting. Mr. ;Boyle dived his en-

ntire: life in West' Wawanosh. 'He
:was the son .OfHenry Boyle and
-Julia . Brophy.He was, born. July
21st,' 1882, ;being .in his 78th year.

Mary' Shanahan,, who predeceas-

a profitable hobby is shown in
pictures as she , works with the
mats ' and an interesting story
of two pages. She 'has:' made
over 700 mats in, the last few
years and now and then glances
over her record book of names
and dates. She receives 'many
nice 'letters of praise from ,peo-
ple
