Haughton, formerly of Ashfield,.
occurred in Queen Elizabeth hos-
Pita'. in. Toronto i on Wednesday,
December 6th.
Mrs. Haughton, • who was , 54
years of age,. had been• ill' since;
last • May . and in the intervening;
monthshad been inand out of
hospitals •on .several occasions.;
Prior to her illness,, she had been
on the office. staff of Stoodleigh's
Restaurants,.. '
Mrs. Haughton was •the former
Etta McQuoid, daughter *of Al-
bert McQuoid and Caroline Mal.
lough,. and was born, at their
Asllfield township 'farm home on
March 9th, , 1007..' .Etta, attended.
Haigh School' in Lucknow and
Wingham Business College, and
upon graduation went to :Toronto,
where she had lived ever' since
Mr. and' Mrs.' ;Haughton , were.
married 'in Toronto 31 years ago.
.Funeralservice, was held • on
:Friday morning, 'December .'8th
at .the • McDougall' .. and Brown
Funeral` Chapel, in Toronto, with
Rev. .David. Clark officiating.
•Burial' took• place. that afternoon
in -thefamily plot in Dungannon
