The death of Mrs, Thomas. H.
Harris of Holyrood occurred in
Wingham General Hospital . on
Monday, September 4th at the age
of 83. She had not • enjoyed the
best of • health for a time ' and
had been hospitalized since suf-'
fering a stroke on, July 22nd..
Mrs. Harris was a good neigh-
bour, and possessed of a jolly
nature, .and 'was held in affection
by •-a wide circle of friends.
She was the former Agnes Emir
Palmer, daughter of .Amos Pal-
rner and Margaret Brown Kayya&
was born in Huron Township,
Of Ripley, on June lst, 18.78.
Married irx, 190.1,, to Thomas' H.
Harris, they 'spent all their mar-
ried 'life on 'the Harris home
stead:on 'on Concession' 8;. Kinloss,
whieh was taken up 'as Crown
land by this' family. Mr; Harris
predeceased his- .wife in , 1950.

of the Holyrood•.Wonen's :Insti
tute and attended Kinlough• Pres-
byterian Church. Her pastor, Rev.
T J. McKinney, . condueted the
funeral service at'the MacKenzie
Memorial Chapel . in Lucknow
