of medical `help. ; So often the
sufferings of the •patients are aug-
mented by the, treatment given'
by the •witch. ,doctor to 'whom they
first 'turn. The'people of 'India
she spoke of. as being talented &
skilful at .::hand' . work. 'and she
.showed'saris and, other articles
beautifully woven ;'and decorated
'by hand. Shehad brought along
a suitcase of garments •and had a
couple. of ' young e girls , model
these vwprn ',by' the various clas-
;ses With the, jewelry .of• which
they are very. fond. In. referring~
to a solo previously, sung by Mrs..
