HE ,LENS NEWS) On Thursday evening the par- ents, •.pupils and, friends of the St. Helens School gathered in the hall for a surprise party for the teacher, Mrs. Jack Fisher, who. has completed, two, years as teacher. Gary ,Gammie was chair- man for the evening. Mrs.: Fisher was escorted to her seat of hon- our: by.Corinne ,Cranston: The program consisted of vocal duets by Hugliie Todd and Judy Borscht, Teddy and Ronnie Copp- er, Vera. and Donnie MacDonald and Sheila ' McQuillan, 'Sus'an Dorscht. 'Patricia Lippert ' had: 'a reading. and • ,piano: solos were given by Sheila, McQuillan , and Dale Gammie.. Sandy McQuillan delighted the audience with bag- pipe selections.
