Basically, the sPecific aims of
,this year's exercise will include
the practice of ' manning e4ier-

level; Topofficials will "examine

1 lems• such as' health' and wel-
fare. services, law and order etc:
occurring during the ' exercise.
The Canadian Army's' part -in
the ::exercise • will include the

survival attack warning system:
.Another facet .of the exercise
will see: the Canadian` Army in-
troducing nuclear data on, theo
retical attacks through . its • dirt-
ecting •* staff. , This information
will be processed through warn-
,ing centres in Ontario and "made

headquarters. •
Each of • Ontario's '• regional
field officers will .assist in ' dir-
' • ecting . and , planning the conduct
of the exercise at theirown re-
gional level. They will work in
