191849. Returning. on July 6th,
1919 from Witley, ,,Canadian

and Hampden in the Presbytery
of Bruce, , remaining there.; until
June, 1925 when he transferred
to Knox: ' 'Church, ' . Wallaceburg-:
the. Presbytery '• of Chatham and -
labored , until he was ,called to
Knox Church,- Goderich on. 'Oc-
tober 1st, '1931. While serving at.
• Goderich, . Mr. Lane; at < the `' re-

mentary Flying Training`;School

ton,. Knox Church, Auburn: and
St• Andrew's Church, '.Blyth be-
came a self-supporting ` charge
under Mr. Lane's leadership and
for nineteen years. • he :has mini-
stered at Clinton St. Andrew's
where he continues to serve the
church, in the 51styear of his
ministry. In 1911, November 29,
he ; married ,Madeline 'M. Huck, a
graduate of Western ; Hospital,
Toronto: `' who for • 491/2 ` years
proved herself to be • a .tower of
strength,'. ;both •,'in :the church she
served so widely and: faithfully
until the. dray ., before her final
illness. In community: efforts she,
was' Welfare Convener .in the lo-
cal .cancer society, Past '.President•
of, the Hospital, Auxiliary, an• of-
ficer in ' the Ladies' Auxiliary to
the., Legion and had: been 'Presi-
dent of the Presbyterial W.M.S •
in. Orangeville, Chatham, Bruce,
and ` Huron -Maitland Presbyter-
ies. • At time ' of her death on
March ;'lath, 196.1, ,;s'he -was Life.
